Inside Sales Associate

Job description and responsibilities

The Inside Sales Associate will be responsible for providing degree program information to prospective students within an assigned customer base. They will be required to assess interest levels and provide continuous follow-up to prospective students, build and maintain positive relationships with assigned prospects, provide high-quality application and enrollment support to facilitate student enrollment, as well as overcome prospective student objections. In addition, the inside salesperson will be required to:

  • Meet individual monthly application and quarterly enrollment goals
  • Work with business development and marketing teams to meet enrollment goals and objectives
  • Work from 11 AM to 8 PM Monday - Thursday, 8 AM to 5 PM Friday

The Inside Sales Associate with also be tasked with special assignments to meet changing business needs as determined by the CEO and Director of Business Development.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree
  • 1-2 years of professional inside sales or admissions experience
  • Strong interpersonal skills

Job Description

As a member of a small, experienced team you will have the opportunity to learn, assume a wide range of responsibilities, and grow in the dynamic e-learning market .

Responsibilities:

  • Responding to prospective and current applicants’ information inquiries via telephone and e-mail.
  • Handling of inbound and outbound calls.
  • Contacting our applicant base and guiding them through the application process.
  • Acting as a liaison to help students through BIOP administrative processes.
  • Entering application data into information systems, tracking the application and enrollment process and creating reports on progress.
  • Managing and processing application materials.
  • Delivering superior Customer Service to applicants and students to support applicant yield and student retention rates.
  • Coordinating with academic counseling and student advisory personnel.

Requirements:

  • Excellent communication skills (oral/written)
  • Outstanding computer/Internet skills (including use of Excel, Word, database, contact management and customer relationship management systems).
  • 1-2 years similar experience, preferably in the education market.

ASP.NET Developer

The ASP.NET Developer is responsible for the overall technical quality of biop's websites and core technologies. This role is part of the development team responsible for the programming, maintenance, technical support, documentation and administration of enterprise .NET applications, processes and databases.

  • Develop and support existing applications, portals, processes and web services utilizing .NET, C#, JavaScript/Jquery/AJAX, XML and other web-oriented languages.
  • Utilize Microsoft SQL Server 2008 (SQL, stored procedures, triggers, etc ).
  • Work with and extend the corporate content management platform Ektron CMS400.NET.
  • Researches, analyzes, recommends and implements new technologies, standard processes, tools and techniques.
  • Produce highly accurate technical documentation and other specifications required to implement and support new and existing applications.
  • Contribute to usability testing efforts.
  • Work with small development team to support business and marketing initiatives.
  • Perform special tasks as assigned.
